Your Information, Handled With Care
Information we collect
When you contact or enroll with The Study Zone, we collect:
- Contact details you provide through our forms, email or phone — parent/guardian name, phone number and email address.
- Student information needed to teach effectively — the student's name, grade, school, subjects and learning goals, as shared by you.
- Session and billing records — attendance, progress notes and payment information for enrolled families.
We do not collect information we don't need, and we don't use tracking beyond what's necessary to run our website.
How we use your information
Your information is used only to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide information you requested
- Enroll students, schedule sessions and manage your account
- Communicate about scheduling, progress and billing
- Improve our programs and services
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is shared only where necessary to provide our services (for example, secure payment processing), and only the minimum required.
Parent and guardian consent
Our students are minors. We collect student information only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, given at enrollment or when you submit an inquiry on your child's behalf. Progress updates and account communications go to the parent or guardian, not the student.
Access, Corrections and Deletions
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — secure storage, limited staff access, and careful handling of records. No system is perfect, but we treat your family's data with the same care we treat your child's education.
Your rights and requests
You may at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about your family
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to records we're required to keep for billing and tax purposes)
- Withdraw consent for communications

Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
