Scheduling & punctuality

Sessions are booked at regular weekly times that suit your family. Please arrive — or log in for online sessions — on time. Sessions end at the scheduled time so the next student isn't kept waiting; if a student arrives late, the session still ends as scheduled, though tutors will always make the most of the remaining time.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Life happens — we get it. We ask for 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling request.

• Cancellations with 24+ hours' notice: no charge, and we'll help you find a new time.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) and no-shows may be charged for the session, since the tutor's time was reserved for your child.
• Repeated late cancellations may require a conversation about whether the current schedule still works for your family.

Makeup classes

Missed sessions with proper notice can be made up within 2 weeks of the missed session, subject to tutor availability. We can't guarantee the same time slot, but we'll do our best to find one that works. Sessions missed without notice are not eligible for makeup.

Monthly plans & refunds

• Pause anytime with reasonable notice — going on vacation or taking a break is never a problem.
• If you cancel a prepaid plan, unused prepaid sessions are refunded — you only pay for the tutoring your child received.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

These policies exist so our tutors can count on their schedules and your family can count on flexibility. If something unusual comes up, talk to us — we're reasonable people.
